Drawing on multiple influences and not letting the bounds of genre influence them Eva and Colin were writing songs every week over the pandemic. A guitar riff would be sent and responded to with a full bass line and vocal. A bass riff and form would be met with a mob of guitar overdubs. It wasn’t until the band could fully form and include Aidan Shapero’s thundering drums that the music came to life. Lead single “I Think We Should Try To Have Kids” and album opener “Coffee” expanded on various production elements and represented a real undertaking for the band.
